Make your own cola

Someone at wikiHow reversed engineered cola. I’m not surprised by this quote but it is still shocking to see it in print, “when you make cola, you basically end up filling a glass with sugar and then adding just enough water and ancillary ingredients to get it to dissolve.” Via boingboing. One correction though, most soft drinks, pastry and confections are sweetened with high fructose corn syrup and not sugar. High fructose corn syrup is considered to be a major contributing factor to the American obesity epidemic and to other health issues.
