Ever thought about milking a goat, or clearing a national forest, or making cheese? Me neither. But you could. Backdoorjobs lists short-term jobs that don’t require a tie. If this interests you, but you can only spare a few days, the Sierra Club trips are even more short-term and give you the Outward Bound experience with considerable less expense.

Want to feel good? Want to give something back? Try the Community Foodbank of NJ. They have tons of opportunity for you to give your little bit. They are located in Hillside and will be observing National Hunger Awareness Day 2006 on June 6. Plenty of time for you to pencil it in.
